Pine Mountain Cabin is 1 of for places to stay at Fire Tower Camp, which sits on 325 acres, 3 minutes walk from water, and your own boat slip, (During season, April-July). The lake brings you amenities such as boating, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, in a quiet cove with over 3,000 ft of shoreline. A fire pit, hiking trails, bluffs, trees of all types, cattle grazing and a US Wetland give you plenty to explore year-round during your stay.
Nestled amidst the serene woods and sprawling fields along the picturesque shores of Smith Lake, our 1-bedroom tiny home is your perfect escape into nature's embrace. Step inside to discover a cozy haven where modern comfort meets rustic charm.
As you enter, you'll be greeted by the ingenious design of a Murphy bed that effortlessly transforms your living space into a peaceful bedroom at night, offering uninterrupted views of the starlit sky through the windows, or from outside by the fire pit under the sky. During the day, fold it away to open up the living area, creating a versatile and inviting atmosphere.
Start and end your day on the front porch. Here, you can savor your morning coffee while listening to the soothing sounds of the forest, or watch the sun rise over the horizon. The extensive rugged trails invite you to explore every nook and cranny of the landscape. Begin your journey by winding through the lush forest, where towering trees create a cool, shaded canopy above. Listen to the melodic symphony of birdsong and the rustling of leaves as you meander along the forested paths.
As you venture deeper into our property, you'll encounter picturesque creeks meandering through the terrain. Waters babble gently over smooth stones, creating a tranquil and refreshing oasis. Take a moment to dip your feet, skip stones, or simply sit by the creek's edge and listen to the soothing sounds of nature.
We are available for questions, and many times are on property along with you. This property is adjacent to our 5th generation family home place, and we are proud to share its history, stories, and beauty with anyone who will listen. Pine Mountain Cabin is the 4th property available to visit at FireTower Camp, located off Pea Ridge Road, at 1340 County Road 351 in Crane Hill, Alabama. The area traditionally contained farms and logging land, and is a mainstay along Smith Lake as you travel from Smith Lake dam to Smith Lake Park along Ryan Creek.
Pine Mountain Cabin is located at 101 FireTower Camp Road, (County Road 353), just off Pea Ridge Road, (County Road 351). There is ample parking for cars, trucks, trailers, etc. on site.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 2 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 2 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

Your family can enjoy the same traditions at FireTower Camp. I have been in the fire truck business over 20 years, and the 109’ Fire Tower will serve as the camp beacon (coming in 2025) as we work hard to give you a relaxing vacation spot!
